Happy Tuesday!
I thought I'd do something a little different today and instead of telling you about one show I like, I'd attempt to rate my favourites. I say 'attempt' because I've still not decided which is number 1.
1) NCIS
Although I'm not really too keen on some of the more recent episodes, I think NCIS is my favourite show. I could sit and watch it for hours, and I have. I just love the chemistry been characters and all the different relationship throughout the show and getting to see both the character and actor develop on screen. I love it when that happens in a show.
2) Rizzoli & Isles
Lately this show has really gone up in my rating because I just keep finding my self laughing out loud, and it's not even a comedy show; it's a crime show. I know this is nowhere near as big a show as NCIS and so it doesn't have as big a budget so it's not as great on the technical side, but I love it nonetheless.
3) Bones
I think my third and second place are really close and sometimes Bones does come before Rizzoli & Isles, but not at the moment. I really like Bones but sometimes it gets a bit too gory so I don't like watching it, especially when there's a big serial killer story line.
4) The Big Bang Theory
I've loved this show for about the last three years and I'm so happy it's starting to get the recognition and viewers it deserves. With all the crime shows I watch a lighter, funny option is always great.
5) Castle
I think this is my number five, or it might be Criminal Minds. I'm not too sure. Although saying that it could also be How I Met Your Mother. Or Friends. Or possibly Modern Family. Okay, basically I can't decide on a fifth favourite TV show because I watch far too much TV.

Castle // TV Tuesday
Happy Tuesday!
Today, I thought I'd share with you a show that I have completely fallen in love with over the last year, which is Castle.
I think my favourite genre of TV shows is crime drama's and I have no idea why, however Castle fits perfectly into this group.
The show, set in NYC, revolves around the homicide detective Kate Beckett and a male author who basically follows her around to gain inspiration for his books called Richard Castle, or at least that's how it was made out when the show first started almost 7 years ago. Now it's more a case of Kate does the detective work and Richard chimes in with these wild, imaginative ideas that some how solve the case 65% of the time.
I've realised what I have just written sounds rather weird, and if you think about it, the concept of the show it quite original really.
At times the show is rather light hearted, which I really like, and then once or twice each season there's a really intense storyline which could potentially make you cry *or if you're like me it will definitely make you cry*
Castle is probably my favourite show to watch to find new music and new artists. They often include really heart wrenching songs at pinnacle points so whenever you hear that song again you instantly think of that scene. A weakness of mine is In My Veins by Andrew Belle, that song wants to make me ball my eyes out, and trust me it has done more than once.
As previously mentioned, the namesake of the show Castle is an author and what I find incredibly amazing about is that the books this fictional character writes actually exist. You can physically buy the books written and spoken about in the show. However, the authors name on the books is Richard Castle so no one actually knows who writes these books. It has been said that it is an author that has appeared in the show before which narrows it down greatly, but still no one knows for certain who the author actually is.

Dance Moms // TV Tuesday
Happy TV Tuesday!
As given by today's title, I've recently started watching an American reality show called Dance Mom's which, as the title suggests, is about the mothers of children who dance, although it is equally about the children also.
When my sister started watching this show last year I thought it was a slightly pathetic thing to watch and I just couldn't get my head around why she continued to watch some poor little girls get shouted at week after week for not pointing their toes or straightening their back leg, but after watching a few episodes I started to understand how invested you become in the girls. That's the main reason I watch the show, for the girls, not really for the mums, or Abby, I just like to see how they're getting on each week with the new dance's they've been set and all the pretty hair, make up and costumes at the competitions.
I know with a lot of reality show's these days there are parts that are scripted and that could well be the case with this show, I don't know, but either way it manages to brighten my day just a little bit.
I really think you should give the show a try before you judge it, unlike I did, because you may end up loving it.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D // TV Tuesday
Happy Tuesday!
Following on from Music Monday we have TV Tuesday although I'm sort of running out of other alliterative themes so don't expect this for the rest of the week.
In September I started seeing adverts for a Marvel TV show which intrigued me greatly being a fan of Marvel films *and the occasional comic*. Although I was confused as to how it was going to work, whether they where going to try and fit a movie plot into an hour show each week or if they were going to basically split a movie up into hour segments. I didn't really know what to expect but that just made me want to watch it even more.
I watched the first episode with my mum who didn't really rate the show at all but then again she's not really a fan of the Marvel films or the whole superhero concept in general. I, however, thought the first episode was quite good as first episodes go. I instantly warmed to the characters, especially since two of them are British *and hot*.
Originally, I stuck with the show because I liked the concept and the characters but after a few months the show really picked up a notch and became very intense and shocking.
I don't really want to say too much because I don't want to ruin it for anyone but I don't think anyone saw it coming and I now struggle to watch the start of the season in the same way because of what happened.
Something I really like about the show is how it ties in with the Marvel films. When the new Captain America film came out in March the show carried on right where the film left of which is great of big Marvel fans and really shows just how thought out the whole Marvel universe is.
Season one of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D finished in May with many, many cliff hangers which I can barely wait to be resolved in September when the show embarks on its second season.
Below is the first trailer for the show that was aired in September in case you too are intrigued about this show I have recently become obsessed with.
